Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This policy explains how PlayBrowsGames (https://playbrowsgames.com) handles your personal data. The data controller is PlayBrowsGames (contact: contact@playbrowsgames.com). It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, Canada’s PIPEDA and Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), where they apply.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your email address and password. Passwords are stored as a one-way hash; nobody, including us, can read them.
- Preferences: whether you want new-game emails.
- Session data: a session cookie set when you log in.
- Technical data: IP address, browser details and access times kept by our server and hosting provider for security.
- Ad measurement: if you arrive from one of our ads or click “Accept”, and unless you opt out, Google advertising cookies record whether you came from one of our ads and whether you signed up. We also store your IP address, browser (user agent), Google click ID (gclid) and landing page on our own servers, in encrypted form, and link them to your account if you sign up or log in.
You don’t need an account to play. Game scores are not sent to our servers.
2. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To create your account, let you log in and reset your password — performance of a contract.
- To email you about new games, if you ask us to — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse and attacks — our legitimate interests.
- To measure how our ads perform — your consent. If you arrive from one of our ads, we rely on implied consent, which you can withdraw at any time with “Essential only” in Cookie settings.
3. Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data. We share it only as needed to run the service, with:
- Our hosting provider: the servers that run the site and its database.
- Our email delivery provider: to send notification and password reset emails.
- Google (Google Ads): for ad measurement, unless you opt out.
- Public authorities, when the law requires it.
Some of these providers may process data in other countries. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
4. How long we keep it
- Account details are kept while your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we do so within 30 days.
- Sessions last up to 30 days; password reset links expire after 1 hour.
- Ad measurement records are deleted after 90 days, or immediately for your browser if you choose “Essential only” in Cookie settings.
- Technical logs are kept as long as needed for security and legal obligations.
5. Cookies
See our Cookie Policy for the cookies we use and how to control them.
6. Children
Accounts are for people aged 13 and over. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we’ll delete it. Playing games without an account requires no personal data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email contact@playbrowsgames.com from your registered address; we reply within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. Security
Passwords are hashed, session cookies can’t be read by JavaScript (HttpOnly), and connections are encrypted with HTTPS. No system is 100% secure, so please don’t reuse your password on other sites.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. We’ll announce important changes on the site; the date at the top shows the latest version.
